StockSaviour Terms of Service
These Terms of Service are an agreement between the Shopify merchant that installs or uses StockSaviour ("you") and StockSaviour, operated in Japan ("StockSaviour," "we," or "us"). By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms and the StockSaviour Privacy Policy.
The service
StockSaviour provides in-app inventory, sales, estimated gross-profit, trend, reporting, goal-progress, advertising-candidate, and reorder decision support for Shopify merchants. Reorder quantities, profit, trends, and recommendations are estimates based on the Shopify data and settings available to the app. The app does not automatically place purchase orders, run advertisements, change prices, or contact suppliers or customers.
You remain responsible for reviewing source data and making business, purchasing, pricing, accounting, tax, advertising, and inventory decisions. StockSaviour is not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice.
Eligibility and merchant responsibilities
- You must have authority to install the app for the Shopify store and to agree to these terms.
- You must keep your Shopify account secure and provide accurate app settings, goals, costs, supplier information, and quantities.
- You must review generated order messages and recommendations before using or sending them.
- You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, or use it in violation of applicable law or another person's rights.
Access and future pricing
StockSaviour is currently provided without a subscription charge. If paid plans are introduced in the future, Shopify will display the authoritative price, billing period, taxes, and other terms before a merchant chooses and approves a paid plan.
Installing or using the current free release does not authorize a future charge. Existing free users will not be charged automatically; a paid plan can begin only after the merchant takes an affirmative action and approves the charge through Shopify.
Data processing and privacy
You instruct StockSaviour to process the minimum Shopify store, product, inventory, order, refund, and app-permission data needed to provide the service. We use that data only for the purposes described in the StockSaviour Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms. That policy also describes data minimization, service providers, security safeguards, retention, deletion, international processing, and request procedures.
We do not request direct customer identity fields, sell personal information, contact your customers, or use Shopify data for an unrelated purpose. You remain responsible for your own privacy notices, lawful basis, instructions, and obligations to your customers.
Service availability and changes
The service depends on Shopify, hosting, database, network, and other systems outside our control. We may perform maintenance or make changes needed for security, legal compliance, platform compatibility, or reliable operation. If critical data cannot be verified, the app may stop an affected calculation or show that data is unavailable instead of presenting an unverified result.
Intellectual property
StockSaviour and its software, design, and documentation remain the property of StockSaviour and its licensors. Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for your Shopify store. You retain ownership of your merchant content and data.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address security risk, unlawful use, material breach, or platform requirements. If you expressly choose a paid plan in a future release, nonpayment under that approved plan may also result in suspension. On uninstall or a verified Shopify deletion request, primary merchant-owned database records are deleted as described in the Privacy Policy, subject to the stated short recovery and log-retention periods.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties not expressly stated in these terms. StockSaviour does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, future Shopify compatibility, or a particular business result.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, StockSaviour is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, business opportunities, or data arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer or merchant rights.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without limiting any protections that applicable law does not allow the parties to waive.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for legal, security, platform, or service changes. The effective date identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel before they take effect when required by law.
